Meet our Board
Preston J. Branaugh is a trained conciliator as well as a practicing attorney. His legal practice emphasizes business and corporate matters to for-profit and non-profit entities, estate planning and administration. Mr. Branaugh received his B.S.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Denver, where he was recognized with the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the Mediation & Arbitration Clinic. He currently also serves on the Management Advisory Committee for Covenant Village of Colorado, and has previously served on several other boards including the Christian Legal Society of Metro Denver and at his church Arvada Evangelical Covenant. He has taught several groups and classes on peacemaking materials, and has spoken at seminar programs conducted by the Christian Ministries Convention and other organizations.
Joseph is currently the President of the US Christian Chamber of Commerce.
Joseph is an Author and a Minister of the Gospel of Christ.
His Ministry focus is on the Marketplace, Marriage and Refugee Relief. Educated in Ukraine, he did his masters degree at the State University of Ukraine in Kiev.
He is a well traveled gentleman and had the privilege to live in Africa, Canada, Europe and the USA. Joseph speaks several languages among them French, Russian and Swahili.
Before immigrating to the United States, Joseph served in several senior positions in the Burundi Government including Counselor to the Minister of Home Affairs and Chief Administrator Officer in the President's Office.
In the USA, prior to becoming a pastor, Joseph worked in the financial industry as a Banker at Citicorp/Diners Club, Norwest Bank and Wells Fargo Bank. Joseph and his wife Angeline live in Aurora Colorado, USA and have two wonderful daughters Shemeza Mishita and Shima Sarah.
Fr. Stace Tafoya is the senior pastor of Church of the Epiphany in East Denver. He is married to Sarah and they have three children: Macrina, Caroline and Luke. Fr. Stace has also been adjunct professor of Theology at Colorado Christian University, and is a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation and Leadership candidate at Denver Seminary.
John is a Colorado native. who grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and left in 1993 to Pastor a church in Antonito, Colorado for 2 years.
He moved to Denver in 1995 to help start Teen Challenge of Colorado. He and his wife owned Nationwide Cleaning Systems Inc. from 1987 to 2007. He served at the Denver Rescue Mission from 2003 to 2007 as the Work Therapy/Volunteer Coordinator at the Lawrence St. Facility. After that he served as the Director of the Pueblo Rescue Mission, in Pueblo, Colorado. Currently he is serving as the Senior Pastor at Denver's Metro Ministries in Denver, Colorado.
Melissa Montoya is a Colorado native and recent addition to the Life Certain Wealth Strategies team, Melissa is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with well over a decade of insurance industry experience. Through her logical, client centric approach to the insurance aspect of financial services, Melissa provides an exceptional level of service to her clients. She focuses on helping clients create and maintain healthy financial lifestyles and by working in concert with her professional team members, Melissa is able to assist clients with a wide array of financial services. Through advanced professional studies in wealth preservation, retirement planning and estate conservation strategies, Melissa stays up-to-date with regard to continuing education. Prior to joining Life Certain Wealth Strategies as an insurance specialist, Melissa worked as an insurance advisor with New York Life Insurance and later with Allstate Financial Services. Melissa and her daughter Sydney reside in Thornton, Colorado.
